Prof. Elon Pras is a specialist in internal medicine and medical genetics, a senior physician at the Institute of Human Genetics at Sheba Medical Center, and the institute’s former director. His primary area of expertise is the diagnosis, consultation, and treatment of autoinflammatory diseases and genetic disorders in adults, with a particular focus on Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF).
During his career at Sheba Medical Center, Prof. Pras served as a senior physician in the Department of Internal Medicine C and was later appointed deputy director of the department and director of the Institute of Human Genetics.
