Naturally, we believe there is value in working with us. Yes, we are biased, but helping patients navigate medical treatment in Israel is the reason our company exists.

A hospital’s international patient department can tell you about the treatments available at its own hospital. We work with several hospitals in Israel, giving us a broader view of the available options. This helps us direct your inquiry to the hospital that may offer a suitable treatment for your case, while providing personal support throughout the process.

We believe this support can make the experience easier for patients and their families, at no additional cost to the patient. But you should understand how the arrangement works before deciding.

The questions below explain what we do, how we are paid, who makes the medical decisions, and how you can verify our company and our relationship with the hospital.

Understanding Our Role

1. Is Israeli Hospitals Ltd. a hospital or a medical tourism coordination company?

Israeli Hospitals Ltd. is a medical tourism coordination company. We help international patients explore treatment options and arrange medical care at hospitals in Israel.

We do not provide medical treatment or make clinical decisions. The hospital’s doctors review your medical records, determine whether treatment is suitable, and take responsibility for your medical care.

2. What does Israeli Hospitals Ltd. add to a hospital’s own international patient service?

Hospitals assist international patients through their international patient departments. Some assign a personal coordinator, while others do not. These coordinators often manage many cases, and routine assistance is generally limited to the department’s working hours.

With Israeli Hospitals Ltd., your personal coordinator is available on WhatsApp 24/7 for questions and help with issues that may arise, including outside hospital office hours.

In the past, this has included arranging a pickup for a patient stranded in the city on a Friday night, accompanying patients to the emergency room on weekends, helping resolve difficulties with taxi drivers, arranging food deliveries from restaurants to patients’ hospital wards, and much more. These practical situations can be especially stressful when you are receiving treatment in an unfamiliar country.

3. What support do you provide before I travel, during my treatment, and after I return home?

Before you travel, we help gather and submit your medical records for review, follow up with the hospital, and work to obtain your treatment plan as quickly as possible. If the hospital offers a consultation or treatment, we help coordinate the arrangements. We also assist with visa forms and requirements and offer advice on accommodation.

During your stay, we accompany you at key stages of your treatment, often including consultations with your doctors. We stay in close contact with the hospital team to help ensure that your care progresses smoothly.

After you return home, we help coordinate communication with the treating hospital regarding follow-up questions or documents.

4. Can you help if I have already contacted a hospital directly?

Maybe. It depends on the status of your case and the hospital’s procedures.

Costs, Quotes, and Payments

5. Will I pay more if I arrange treatment through Israeli Hospitals Ltd.?

No. Our coordination and support services come at no additional cost to you. The hospital determines the cost of your medical care, and we do not add a coordination fee to your hospital bill.

6. How does Israeli Hospitals Ltd. get paid?

Israeli Hospitals Ltd. receives a commission from the hospital under its agreement with us. This covers our work coordinating your case and supporting you throughout the process. You do not pay a separate fee for these services, and the commission does not increase your hospital charges.

7. Who issues my treatment quote, and who receives my payments?

The hospital issues your medical treatment plan and price quote. Payments for hospital treatment are made directly to the hospital, according to its payment instructions.

We help coordinate the process and clarify any questions about the quote or payment arrangements.

8. What documents will I receive before making a payment?

Before paying for treatment, you will receive the hospital’s proposed treatment plan, price quote, and payment instructions. If the payment is for a consultation or medical evaluation, you will receive the relevant appointment and cost information.

9. What happens to my payments if treatment is cancelled or my treatment plan changes?

Payments for medical care are handled by the hospital. All hospitals we work with refund patients for treatments that are cancelled and not provided.

If your treatment plan changes, we help you clarify with the hospital how this affects the cost and any payments already made.

Hospital Selection and Medical Decisions

10. How do you decide which hospital to recommend for my case?

In some cases, we recommend a particular hospital because we know from experience that it is the only one offering the requested treatment or has a particularly strong department in the relevant specialty.

In other cases, we submit your medical records to several hospitals. Based on their responses and the options they offer, you can decide which hospital you prefer.

11. Do you have exclusive arrangements with particular hospitals?

No. We work with several hospitals in Israel and are not committed to referring every patient to one particular hospital. This allows us to explore options according to your medical needs and the programs available.

12. Who reviews my medical records and decides whether treatment is suitable?

Your medical records are reviewed by the hospital’s medical team and the relevant specialists.

Israeli Hospitals Ltd. helps organize and submit your documents and follows up with the hospital. We do not determine medical eligibility.

13. Who is responsible for my medical care and treatment decisions?

The treating hospital and its medical team are responsible for your medical care.

Our role is to coordinate and support the process. We do not replace your doctors or make treatment decisions.

14. What happens if the hospital determines that I am not eligible for the treatment I requested?

We help clarify the hospital’s response and whether it recommends another treatment or further evaluation. Where appropriate, we can also check whether another hospital we work with offers a relevant option.

15. How do you stay informed about CAR-T treatment options and developments across Israeli hospitals?

We stay in regular contact with the Israeli hospital teams we work with to learn about their CAR-T programs, eligibility requirements, and treatment options for international patients.

We also follow developments in the field and attend specialist CAR-T conferences.

This gives us a broader perspective than information from a single hospital and helps us direct patient inquiries to the relevant teams.

Verifying Our Company and Hospital Relationships

16. Is Israeli Hospitals Ltd. a registered company, and how can I verify its registration?

Our company is registered in Israel as Life Tree Marketing Ltd., company registration number 514345826. Israeli Hospitals Ltd. is the name we use for our medical tourism activity.

17. Why do different company or brand names appear on your website?

Our company was established in 2009 and has developed several initiatives and areas of activity over the years. Some have operated under different brand names. Our medical tourism activity operates under the name Israeli Hospitals Ltd., while the registered company name is Life Tree Marketing Ltd.

18. How can I verify your relationship with the hospital you recommend?

Visit our About Us page to view certificates documenting our relationships with the hospitals we work with.

19. How can I find your listing in the Ministry of Health’s medical tourism register?

The Ministry of Health’s public medical tourism register displays entries under individuals’ names. To find our listing, search for Tanya Preminger, our CEO, or view her listing directly.

20. Why are there no reviews of Israeli Hospitals Ltd. on Google or Trustpilot?

Medical care is a deeply personal matter, and our patients’ privacy is important to us. Many patients prefer not to share details about their health or treatment on public review platforms, and we respect that choice.

Some patients have kindly agreed to share their stories or photos on our website, and we are very grateful to them. We do not publish their names and, in some cases, also omit their countries of origin to help protect their privacy.
